Mission

PeoriaWriters.Org serves and supports the Peoria's writing community. Our mission stresses the importance of words and writing's power to advance knowledge, understanding, and society.  We are tireless in our efforts develop writing skills in our community. 

We help those seeking help write books, publish them, and discuss strategic aspects of publishing. Our non-profit organization serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We do not discriminate. We merely support our fellow citizen writers, and serve as a guiding light.

Our volunteer base is growing at a steady pace. With this growth, we have been able to accomplish more, and have a larger impact upon our community. We welcome new volunteers with open arms. Please inquire today about how you can become a cherished part of the Peoria Writers.org.

PeoriaWriters.Org Mission:

The mission of PeoriaWriters.org is to build writing skills for all members of the community.  We all benefit when our people know how to express their ideas in clear plain English. 

Peoria Writers.org seeks to organize contests to celebrate local authors.  We strive to organize the writing community to make it more vibrant.  

Peoria Writers.org seeks to organize a contest for area school children where children in each grade submit their writings, fiction or not, no matter, so long as it is written.  The top three from each grade will be bound and published to highlight their achievement and inspire a new generation of Peoria Writers.
